What would it really cost Alberta to reduce its carbon footprint?

EDMONTON, AB, Feb. 4, 2007/ — Alberta Premier Ed Stelmach recently raised the same economic doomsday fears as his predecessor, Ralph Klein, when he suggested that any efforts to reduce the total amount of greenhouse gas Alberta emits into the atmosphere to below 1990 levels could not be achieved without devastating the province’s economy.
